Travel Pieces

Although Icelandic artist Örn Porsteinsson usually produces large pieces, some of his most memorable work are his “Travel pieces”, miniature sculptures made from pliable materials that he carries with him wherever he goes. These pieces are the artist's thoughts made visible, ruminations on the Icelandic landscape and biomorphic fantasies arising from it.
